Updating the DN

I don’t own a windows PC. I only have a Linux PC… anyway to update the latest DN firmware with linux?

Awesome! Super simple to use amidi for firmware updates but now that I know the correct size I can comfortably backup my Digis. Thanks! FYI: the amidi command worked perfectly fine for me. If anyone is interested, here are the steps for upgrading the Digitone to 1.02, under Linux: WARNING! The firmware upgrade is generally a sensitive process and the procedure described below is unofficial, unsupported, and therefore - I suppose - unrecommended by Elektron. So think twice, understand what you are doing, and know the risk. So anyway. Open the terminal, and download the Digitone firmware: wget https://www.elektron.se/wp-cont…

For firmware it’s just sysex. On Mac people commonly use Sysex Librarian for example

Your mileage may vary and this isn’t official so just keep that in mind.

I update all of my devices with my linux machine just using amidi
