USB Recording using the Audio Input?

I’m doing some initial homework before setting up Overbridge for my AR2. Reading the Overbridge manual (2.0.60), I see no mention of using the Audio Inputs (not the External Inputs) for recording. There is mention of this for Digitakt, however. As of right now, the AR2 can stream the internal channels only.

Does anybody have information to the contrary? Thank you.

There is capability to stream the audio ins.

Thank you. It sounds like you’ve perhaps used this, standingwave? Any thoughts on software stability and / or the DAC sound quality?

I’m a Protools user, so my settup is a bit convoluted. I used to use bluecat to run the overbridge plugin within the Axx environment, but now I just rewire reaper. Stability is great. My advice is to set up a session or folder track that has all your bussing and MIDI pre-configured so you only have to do it once.
As far as the DAC, I haven’t noticed any perceived degradation or distortion.
Overbridge is incredible really. Not only for routing and syncing, but also saving all the session data within the session that I’m working on.

This is good information. Thank you for sharing. I’ll fight through the install and learning curve based on this.
