I should also say, we use this in a live band setting. We dont have a drummer, but use the MIDI controlled for all our songs. The Sole man has 4 buttons, so I have midi set up so that whenI go to a new song, it changes all our presents on guitar pedals, synths, etc. then within asong, each of the 4 pedal switches on the soleman changes my drum sounds and even in some cases vocal effects, synths.
The soleman has a macro feature, which you can send multiple MIDI messages, but PC, CC, Start, End, etc all at once. its very very powerful and easy to use once you get the hang of it.
Here is a real world example, this is a simple pattern, but you can hear the drums change in the song. You cant see it, but im using my foot to change the pattern on the Roland. I just need to learn how to do this on the Rythm now
