Using LFO to for emulating different time scales?

Hi 'Nauts,
So I have a 4 beat pattern on MD and on one of the tracks I want a bleep to trigger at a different time scale, say every 16 beats.

You should be able to achieve this using a famous “slow lfo trick” on a lower number track routed to the volume parameter of the track in question, right? I’m sort of getting there, but it’s not perfect.

Has anybody done this? Any tips?

i would copy your 4 beat pattern to the whole 64 steps then just trigger your bleeb once…then you have your trigger every 16 beats…i would’t go with the lfos, since the slowest setting of 1 is about 4 bars…you can get slower by modulate the speed with the seconds lfo, but you always have some volumebleeding at every bar 'cause the lfo would’t drop completely to zero for the rest of the 4 bars.

Yeah, this is what’s happening

Square wave LFO perhaps?
