I’ve just put my latest EP up on Bandcamp if anyone is interested. I say “vaguely hiphop” as although I started out with the intention of writing some instrumental hiphop I probably ended up straying a bit from there… the beats are mostly in that zone at least. It was a bit of a different approach for me where I wrote it separately on the M8 and M:C with only a note of tempo and what key/scale I was in. I then recorded the various parts and then tried to Frankenstein them together in Ableton. At that point, I added in bits of Fors Chiral and Reason Parsec to try and plaster over the cracks…
