What’s everyone’s thoughts on this bit of kit, finding it quite sexy
Not a bad price and it has a good sound to it
My thoughts exactly, interface looks quite intuitive too
If you guys like that you should look at Animoog new iOS. Seems…very similar.
Animoog got an update?
The hardware looks great, had a problem with the disjoin between what I was looking at in the video & the sound I was hearing.
Teaser video didn’t make me want me to drop my money cos I’m sensible like that, would’ve made more sense to have a demo with a bit more explanation.
That one way of looking at it, another way is this isn’t Apple, has proper audio out & decent controls besides the screen. Also this is not Apple
No. That was a typo. Should have read, “Animoog on iOS.”
Rats
Still a cool synth though
I See Not much of a difference between an Analog Four with its plocks and trig conditions plus Overbridge and this Vector, besides the graphical UI.
But i might be wrong.
Did someone get one from first batch? Just interested
No I was close and still might but Iv gone waaaaay over budget, space and input capacity this year already
Major update’s and available now https://sonicstate.com/news/2020/11/09/vector-synthesizer-upgraded/
One for the wishlist I think.
Interesting synth !
I looked through the on-line manual for this This seems an ideal synth to match with a deep controller keyboards like the Osmose or Hydrasynth Keyboard, to control the Orbiter. (Also in my case this synth would open dimensions with a wind controller.)
Also i see that SynthAnatomy picked this as one of the best experimental hardware synths of 2020. (They made a small exception for the Vector synth in that it came out very late 2019.)
ASIDE; Other synths picked by SynthAnatomy for 2020
- Moog Subharmonicon
- Eowave Quadrantid Swarm
- Elta Music Solar 50
- Meng Qi Wing Pinger
- Neutral Labs Elmyra
- Gamechanger Audio Motor Synth
- Erica Synths SYNTRX
- Herbs and Stones Liquid Foam
Ok. now I saw it. Interesting synth, worth to watch. The interface looks good.
But why an Ethernetport and no WiFi Adapter instead? It has Linux as OS running…
This thing looks wild! I’m surprised there’s not more people talking about it!
I think Red means Recording is doing a video on it as we speak. He has released several snippets where he jams with it
The latest sound demo on the site sounds to me like is could have all been done on the DN. very interesting looking synth tho.
