Velocity parameter in parameter locks doest work

Hi! I’m really new to working with Elektron and midi stuff and i couldnt find anything about this online.

I control my A4 with my digitone and i want to use parameter locks for a track from the A4.
Every parameter seems to work exept for velocity. No matter the value on the velocity on the trigs they always come out the same volume.
Can anyone explain why and if there is a way to fix this?

Velocity to Volume can be disabled as a sound option [hunt for the toggle] and note there are also further velocity modulation parameters (besides the usual link to level)
