Vermona PerFourmer MKII

Thanks for the tip! I’ve been looking for one of these for a while, ordered just now…

The ‘14 sounds insanely good from what I’ve heard online. Most online examples are just mesmerising…

@MichaalHell It was the the same with the PerFOURmer (which ultimately made me get one).

Each time I turn it on and hear it (however basic) it’s got that same magic ‘presence’ that reminds of why I bought it. I’d never sell it.

Btw not sure if this has already been posted… (good free patch book).

I pre-ordered one and it seems to be on its way. Exciting!

Are there any 3rd party alternatives to the standard wood panels, like other types of wood or angled ones that work as a desktop stand? I couldn’t find anything.

I did look extensively for mine, and could only find the Vermona option (which are great BTW). The only other suggestion would be to get some made bespoke? Maybe search Etsy?

My internal conflict is that Ive been kind of set on getting a CXM 1978 and a Minilogue OG. The funny thing is that I want a Minilogue OG because of its simplicity and how it sound really good just by it self.

So all the things which lures me to the Minilogue are the exact thing people state about the Perfourmer.

The only thing is that I would probably be missing out on CXM 1978, which is mesmerizing in its own right. BUT I have a ZOIA Euroburo with a stages so I can actually do a quasi CXM 1978 in that I have faders and reverb in one box… and one thing which the ZOIA trumps is that I can use it as a midi interface with all my other synths with faders push buttons and envelope followers… so I’m leaning towards getting the Perfourmer (if there’s anyone left by the time I have decided :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:)

The only con with ZOIA is that I don’t really think the reverbs sound that good… beggars can’t be choosers… or something

I mean just listen to this…

Everything is so simple, but it’s just so amazingly beautiful…

You can’t go wrong with the perfourmer, it’s always sound good, but it’s always sound the same. I mean, don’t expect crazy modulations or FX. Each voices are very basic and the synth itself want to make ambient. It can be hard (but not impossible) to setup in a mix for another style of music.

My Monomachine kind of cover the buck wild territory. It doesn’t cover tactility and “sounds that you want snuggle up against and fall asleep to” which the Perfourmer definitely cover…

Yeah, I will definitely save up for one. I still have some tidbits from my modular that I will sell so I think I can rack up enough for a CXM from that

While I wouldn’t necessarily disagree, I’ve got a hell of a lot of mileage from processing mine through a Sherman/Rodec Restyler. It’s one of those great gear pairings, like Osmose/Cosmos, MS20/NightSky, P3/JD-XA etc.

Yes of course with FX and processing you can go wild

Thanks so much for posting this! I didn’t know about it.
