Waiting for our Syntakts to arrive

FWIW, Elektron responded promptly to my support request and reimbursed me for the charge.

I’ve returned mine too. Nice machine but it didn’t wow me. I can use that money for something else I’ve got my eye on…

Oh my i dont know how you keep your patience

Welp, can’t afford it, bought it anyway. Got a mint one on reverb a minute ago. May have to go sell one of my rifles.

That’s a mighty fun looking setup you have there!

Exactly, me too did not experience the wow effect

I think Elektron has lost a bit its positive momentum

It depends to who you’re talking to.

LOOOOOOOOONG and Mcquade :stuck_out_tongue:

It depends if you can do a good and honest analysis without being a fanboy

A Fanboy can’t do an honest analysis?

i don’ t know a fan usually buy anything, good or bad, he does not care as long as he owns that product from his favourite brand/company

I hope I am wrong

I almost had to wait an extra week because I had to be home for delivery so FedEx in Japan held onto it until today.

So long, thread! Again, big thanks to Elektron’s support team and Fredrik in particular.

I ordered from perfect circuit. Which is great, but must have just sold all the units they had super quickly.

Hi guys,

I’m in the US and ordered my Syntakt directly from Elektron.

The delivery was due today but I checked the status and it says :

Shipment requires importer’s registration/identification number for clearance. (Examples include EIN, SSN, VAT, GST, RFC, etc.)

Did anyone else encounter this, and how was it rectified?

I’ve never seen this, do I contact FedEx or Elektron?

Thanks in advance.

Nope.

They just released something you didn’t like so much.

But yeah, obviously anyone who disagrees with you must be a fanboy.

Nothing to do with people enjoying different things and Elektron catering to different needs.

:joy:

Contact Elektron. In general, the recipient of a FedEx shipment cannot correct incorrect information associated with the shipment because the recipient is not party to the shipment contract.

Thanks ark!
I just sent in a ticket.
So frustrating knowing the Syntakt is 2 miles away…

Mine showed up friday along with a digitakt I bought off reverb. Took about 2 weeks for retro gear shop in tennessee to get the syntakt in from pre-order. They join forces with digtone now! I have it routed and sync’d as digitone into syntakt into digitakt. Cool thing about this routing is I can use digitakt and add 8 more tracks of digitone or 8 more tracks of syntak if needed by just sampling them. Also can use the compressor in digitakt since it’s the last thing.

Been having a lot of fun with them this weekend!

Mine ships out tomorrow from a reverb seller. If Gas was still in the $2 range I’d drive to Nashville to pick one up from retro. They are great.
