When you say West Coast, some people think of shrimp and [vegamössor](https://sv.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vegamössa), while others think of cooler-than-cool G-funk vibes of Dr. Dre. But to those of us in the know, West Coast can only mean the idiosyncratic school of synthesis spearheaded by Don Buchla. And that's the west coast [Skinnerbox](https://www.facebook.com/myskinnerbox/) is channeling in this Sound Pack for the Octatrack. 135 loops and one-shots wrangled out of the Buchla and Serge systems — with ample help from [Endorphines Furthrrrr Generator](https://endorphin.es/endorphin.es--modules.html) — at [Elektronmusikstudion](http://elektronmusikstudion.se) in Stockholm).
Download the free demo pack and purchase at [Elektron.se](https://www.elektron.se/soundpacks/west-coast).
And, don't forget: All Elektron sample packs are compatible with Octatrack, Digitakt, Analog Rytm, and any other sampler that handles WAV files!

But if this pack is for OT its 44.1kHz and not 48, right?
Yep, it is specified on the sound pack page.
This seems to be a nice pack, I like the demos! Albeit, as usual, I’ll just stick to the demo pack, if I want to save money for a Digitone.
Wish they would still include a bank of patterns
and scenes
From the sound samples this could be worth it. Main thing I’m missing on the OT is high quality synthesizer one-shot samples. Will have to get this.

maybe I should start cutting up the modular recordings I never use and organize them into a sample pack haha.
who knows, if I get bored enough I might do that…
