As shows are starting to happen again, I am starting to play out. I am sort of paranoid of what would happen if my digitakt broke or stopped working and wanted to plan for worst case scenario. It is currently the main part of my show (use it to play most of the tracks/samples).
I have created a backup for my digitakt and it’s saved as .dtprj file on my computer. Say it broke, got stolen, etc… Would I be able to buy a new digitakt, load up the .dtprj file into it and it would act as if nothing changed? Or would that only bring in the parameters, then I would have to line up all the samples/sounds in the right bank?
I know this sounds paranoid, but if this thing breaks, I would be done for…
