In Eurorack: All Industrial Music Instrument modules, especially the MK3 line, alongside with a Vector12 sequencer.
This demo of the randomizing features of the PreenFM2 totally sold me on it. Probably every other patch that flies by in the video is something I could see using. The ones using panning at the operator level are especially interesting.
It does kind of remind me of the random features of the Microwave XT from when I had it years ago, so easy to find unique timbres.
My Preen euro module arrived yesterday, can’t wait to dive into it

I love being able to randomise at the page level on DIgitone: perhaps crafting a patch I enjoying and randomising the LFO page to generate fun movement I might not have thought of or got to otherwise.
Also love the layer (and pattern) randomisation on the Volca Drum: choosing to randomise a single or both layers at once can yield really interesting and unexpected results.
