What are your favourite MIDI CC connections for performance?

Hi all,

What are your favourite parameters to control through MIDI for performance?
DigiTone comes with so many unusual sound design controls, I’d be interested to hear what some of you are controlling while you perform, if you use a MIDI controller panel.

Probably just mute , filter , fx sends and something that has a big impact on the sound … I wouldn’t try to me too much to cover all parameters.

Or make a macro on the controller, 1 x slider that is mapped to multiple things behind the scenes

In midi designer 2 on iOS I often mapped delay time( restricted to bpm sync values ) , filter , feedback to get a nice build up.

Not sure about specific CCs, but if you’re not playing with a keyboard, you could setup velocity and/or aftertouch as a faux-macro to control a number of different parameters on a per-patch basis. It would take more time to set up, but you could then use one control to do different things depending on the patch you have.
