Yes, I’ve read p76 in the manual. But I wanted to clear all Projects before trading my DN, so I performed both of these functions. They did nothing as far as I could tell. So I had to manually tick each Project and my Sounds, then delete them that way. It seems weird to me that it’s not possible to return it to an empty/blank state (aside from Presets and Factory Sounds) with one command.
The fastest way to initialize the +drive is by formating it (SYSTEM -> FORMAT +DRIVE). This will remove everything in one go.
I’m not sure, but I guess afterwards you need to execute Factory Reset to recover the presets.
Empty Reset is just to clear the RAM (thus kick out the active project).
