Also want to sample my Noise Engineering Loquelic Iteritas Percido that does a nice kick.

Runners up:

  • 3 Sisters pinged and lightly modulated by a very short no-attack Maths envelope
  • M8 FM synth
  • Any shitty tom sample from an 80s drum machine, pitched down an octave or 3, with pitch envelope
  • Analog Four, with a bit of finagling
  • Almost anything through Octatrack filters with envelope and resonance fine-tuning
  • Nord G1 LFO (for 24kHz grit) with trigger resetting phase to +1 or -1 level to create transient
  • RYTM low tom

Get a wooden spoon. Wrap it with a sock. Find some cardboard boxes and go to town.

Blue Wales make super low sinewaves, add some pitch envelope and you got your 909 right there!:whale:

I load up whichever loopmasters one-shot sounds the best to me at the time.

Are the sheep wearing Wellingtons as a protest against Ugh boots?

Love The Goodies!

I spent a couple of hours throwing rocks and logs in different tunnels by my house and sampling that. A lot of those are great for kicks and even better layered with other kicks.

Sometimes I like to get real weird and sample a bass drum.

Might be cool
