to the next next thing? really? are they not stretched thin enough for you? haha
They are doing fine IMO, but whatās the name of this thread?
Digiwave - Wavetable synth with a twist, Digidrum - digital drum synth, no samples, Digiloop - Mixer with looping functionality and song mode to tie everything together and allow for seamless transitions.
I like a line of giant Pocket Operators
ā¦and Pocket Operators are the ones where you can save pattern chains.
Is that ability in the new ones? Awesome
Iād say digi drumsynth next. MD successor with a twist.
that thereās a bit of wavetable in the digitone already that might mean a wavetable digi might be shelved.
maybe. of course Iām totally guessing too.
I like the sound of a looping mixer
ok I say looping taktmixer next.
digimix
+1 for mixer/looper & fx
I think the Heat was a learning lesson for Elektron in their intention of making immediate interfaces- I donāt think it was ever an intention to be a long term destination for them.
I donāt see them making a multi-FX box either especially with the Zoia or whatās it called being offered
If I had to bad guess it- Iād say theyāll make an imitation digital modular next
Either that or a box thatās like a pumped up version of op1 tape machine
Iād. love an elektron all in one modular where the sequencer tracks and track modulation can interact with other tracks.
that for me would be MM mk3
yes please
Most likely- their next project will be a digital drum synth now that Iām thinking about it
Really really would like a modern take on a 4 track with effect sends and more than just a stereo input.
Donāt even need any crazy effects just pitch
The op-1 is nice but Iād like to be able to use more than just 1 input.
Iād imagine it would be something that you could use OB on- connect a A4/DT/DT/AR and you could record your tracks on that instead of a computer
That sounds awesome and Iād love to see something like that happen
Digibass, Digiwave, Digikeys and finally a Digiflex where you can customise the feature set and firmware options.
Digibone
- itās durable
- dogs love it
- itās made of bone
Charlie McMahon demonstrates the Digibone
Actually this is pretty cool! āThe dog loves it too.ā Thereās another video of it that follows.
Added: The āFace Bassā ā hope this guy trademarked that, itās good.
Hahah, I have no idea whatās going on here but Iām loving it.
Elektron should do a hybrid next.
Expand on the fm synth to include more digital synthesis, running into analog filters, vcaās etc.
Much more knobs as well would be great
In the video with Simon he refers to building the Digitone on the Digitakt āplatformā so it took much quickerā¦
He also mentions that the Digitone has two of the processors from the Digitakt and processes sound internally at 96k 32bit resolutionā¦
