I am not really in to funerals. That said they are for the living not the dead.
Funeral-short-my youngest brother to sing (actually happy to skip this bit altogether as long as my little bro sings at the wake).
Wake (most important part, all welcome even if I didn’t know you)-plenty of food and drink-my other (middle) bro on the decks and what ever is left of my music gear (it’s his at this point anyhow).
No big speeches are required, cremate me in my favorite clothes in a cardboard box (save any wealth in my estate for the living). Further my ashes can be done with as the living see fit, they can go in the trash for all I care at that point.
If I have a point it is that we have all seen some stuff, but building a coherent and relatable picture of the whole is far from easy. Keep on keeping on, humanity.
Spiritualized would be nice.
