I’ve been looking at what the Octa can do and an very impressed. But it’s clear that, as with any instrument, the player makes the music.
Thinking about this, I began to wonder what someone like Bach, Hendrix, Eno or the FSOL would make of the machine!
What producers, composers or musicians would you like to see/ hear jamming out on an Octatrack and why?

I’d like to see what madlib would cook up. He seems a bit anti-technology from interviews i’ve read though. Dilla would’ve been interesting too. I’d generally like to see more octatrack hip hop

I feel like “Stockhausen” would be the ‘obvious’ answer here…

I know Danny Wolfers has one but I haven’t identified it on any of his releases yet and I have a feeling Elektron just comped him one when they had him make that sample pack.
Paul Pena because he was a master at warping the capabilities of his voice.
Johnny Cash for his sense of rebelliousness.
Atari Teenage Riot because I haven’t heard a lot of noisy punk esthetic tracks done with the OT.

Loving all these opinions. Some many musicians to check out though!
I think I saw this on Elektron.se but one of my all time favorites, MGMT.
