He already works for Elektron and has for years
You have my vote, the first jam is excellent. Is that all AR sounds or also samples?
Thank you! Itās been a while but Iām pretty sure itās like 80-90% Rytm. I know thereās an audio rate looping sample that I was scanning like a wavetable with the quick perform knob. That was the secret sauce imo
I donāt know if anyone has noticed or maybe no one wants to say it but a lot of these already established/popular synthfluencersā music is pretty bad. I would even venture to call it crappy. I think Dataline leaving was a major blow. I donāt really see anyone else pushing these Electrons to the limit like he used to do.
If you saw the awesome demo with Ess demoāing the MC when it came out, thatās a real double blow losing him too.
Iād personally like to see a Swede, preferably from Elektron themselves demo their products again. They seem to have a knack for bringing out the quirky nuances and ethos which made Elektron gear unique in the first place.
Also happy to see other peopleās interpretations of course but thatās what first drew me to the Elektron universe a decade or two ago.
yeah but heās never been visible enough for my taste, I always ask him to post more
Canāt argue with that
While i respect anyone who helps alleviate GAS, i do not know why the framing of that one annoys me that much. Probably just the boastful clickthrough title
Not sure if itās been posted here, but one of the Syntakt presets is an easter egg referencing Nick:
This is so good and funny. When heās son starts to play the first 3 notes of the Smoke On The Water riff and Ozzy goes whatās this?
How about Jeanne and Baseck both running into Ezbotās Octatrack. Iād buy all that gear, the album, and promotional poster in a heartbeat.
Ivar gets my vote for sure. I love his vids and songs. One of the few people Iāve found on social media that I actually listen to the music they put out.
Also learned a lot about the Digitakt from him.
I know absolutely nothing about this dude other than his is one of about 5 channels I actually bother to subscribe to.

Not really a serious response to this thread but love his synth demos - they always make me want to buy. Great examples of one synth songs too.
I really liked Elin Pielās presentation of Syntakt. I hope she does more work for Elektron
Bobcat Goldsmith.
Assignment: Octatrack
Yeah what ever happened to her working with them? I follow her on IG and like a lot of her work. Itās not terribly beat-focused, which makes me wonder why they chose her to do it, but she did a great job and Iād like to see her back using the new machines.
āāI shouldnāt be out here, I should be in school, on the other side of the ocean, yet you come to us, young people for tutorials. How dare you!āā
