Wrong PSU Problems

Hi just out of intrest would the wrong PSU cause strange problems with a A4?

Just saying because i bought a A4 MK1 and i think the seller has sent the psu for there octatrack instead of the one for the A4 as when i use the psu they sent i cannot get no sound and it gives 1 Errors + Audio 1234 so ive used my one from my Octatrack MK2 and it works, i can get sound but still throws errors 1 Errors + Audio 4

Also when i use the Record Play or stop buttons it switches to the copy clear paste track and i cannot get it off could the wrong psu cause this issue too?

OT MK1 PSU is 6V

Digitone, Digitakt, A4 MK1 & MK2, Rytm MK1 & MK2, and OT MK2 use a 12V PSU

So yea, if the PSU they sent you was an OT MK1 PSU, it would definitely cause issues.
OT MK2 PSU should not cause issues.

What voltage and amperage does the actual PSU say it is?

The one sent is 6V so it is the one for the Octatrack thats solved that problem
