Honestly no. Not a fan at all of the pioneer instant gratification effects for starters. And the price tag…. I’m not one to complain about what stuff costs but pioneer always has been the exception to this. Ridiculous price tag.
The main thing that makes db4 so incredible to me is the combination of the input matrix and the looper per channel. And to this day there’s no other mixer that has those things unfortunately. It’s quite baffling really.
From what I’ve read the A9 is a great update of the djm900 nexus with a lot of improvements. But it’s in its core pretty much the same idea.
