No particular order
Ninja Gaiden Black
Gta III
Marvel Super Heroes
Vanquish
Metal Gear Solid 2
Outrun 2
Streets of Rage 3
Street Fighter 3
The House of the Dead (3 or 4)
Final Fantasy 8
Probably forgetting some, but those spring to mind.
I feel slightly offended that you chose Wind Waker over Ocarina of Time
Dark Souls 3
Street Fighter (the OG SNES one)
PES 5
Indiana Jones: Fate of Atlantis
Horizon Zero Dawn
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare
Final Fantasy Adventure (Gameboy :))
BioShock Infinite
Hell Let Loose
Sam & Max Hit The Road
Not sure if this is definite, but these came to mind (DS3 came first, then there was a looong gap lol)
Also not in any order, mix of arcade and console games. I still play video games but my ultimate list is mostly old games
Operation wolf
Street fighter 2
Metal gear solid 5
Sensible soccer
Mario kart 8
Music 2000
Double dragon
Speedball 2
Tony hawks pro skater 2
Zelda
Yes! That was so good.
I’m not a big gamer, but love the Fallout series all the way back to Wasteland. My favorite series by far. I never played the online one, Fallout 76. Did that ever become worth it?
Hell yeah. Great list.
While getting old sucks, I’m glad I’m of an age that I got to experience arcades in all their glory. Not the later fighting game era at the bowling alley in the 90s (which was also cool), but like Tempest, Tron, and Dragon’s Lair. To a little kid, those dark corners of the mall with quarter machines were a magical place. My dad would be a baller and put a $20 in. To a little kid it might as well have been a Vegas slot machine jackpot.
I would have been really young at the time, but also remember Pac Man, Q-Bert, and Frogger at the roller skating rink.
America had its good days.
C&C Red Alert 2
Red Dead Redemption 2
Quake 3 Arena / UT2k4
Duke Nukem 3D (come get some!)
Unreal
Mario Kart SNES
Commandos 2
Dead or Alive XTreme Beach Volleyball
GTA 1, 4 (?)
Tony Hawk 2
this list is too complicated so difficult! I’m not 13 where there is only Fortnite and Minecraft on that list – Top 10 per platform and or decade would be easier!
Wizball
Spy vs. Spy
Another World
Megaman I
North & South
Wipeout
Dead Nation
Bioshock
Deus Ex
Limbo
This is too hard, so in no particular order and definitely missing some important titles:
Quest for Glory IV
Wolfenstein 3d
Deus Ex
Hidden & Dangerous
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare
Age of Empires 2
TES Oblivion
Monster Bash
Syberia I & II
Aces Over Europe
I wouldn’t be able to do a top ten, but two other games that I loved were Pool of Radiance and Curse of the Azure Bonds. I got hooked on RPGs with Bard’s Tale III for the C64.
I loved it when games like outrun, star wars, operation wolf etc hit the arcades. As a tiny kid flying a space ship, racing cars and shooting an Uzi was a proper fantasy trip. The sounds and smells entering the arcade with your pocket money, waiting your turn and challenging bigger kids was awesome.
Space Invaders
Donkey Kong
Pac-Man
Dun Darach
The Hobbit
Star Fox
Crazy Taxi
Shenmui
Legend of Zelda
Cannon Fodder
Jet Set Radio(sweet sweet sugar)
Crazy taxi and jet set radio should probably both be on my list.
Shit forgot Jet Set Radio
Crazy taxi was just so playable. Instant enjoyment
Street Fighter 2
Mortal Kombat 2
Super Mario World
F Zero
Link to the Past
Donkey Kong Country
Super Metroid
Super Castlevania IV
Secret of Mana
Ocarina of Time
The Secret of Monkey Island
Streets of Rage II
Road Rash II
Jungle Strike
Super Mario World
NHL 93
Virtua Racing
Wipeout
Cannon Fodder
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
I’m showing my age with some of those
