YouTube Digitone Tutorial: Using delay feedback loops to get creative pattern variations

Hi DN fam, just made a new Digitone tutorial on YouTube this time I focus on “delay feedback loops” which I frequently used in my jams. It’s a great way to get creative with an existing pattern and make transitions, rises and falls within your pattern without needing to change to another one. Hope everything gets clear and makes sense and you can get any use out of it, if you’ve any questions regarding the workflow feel free to ask!

This is a great little trick. Would be super effective to drop into a totally new pattern too!

That’s a great trick and has got me wondering about other variations. Really clearly explained too. Thanks for sharing.

Saw this on YouTube a few days ago and tried it on my DT+OT+DN setup. Its awesome. Love the looped tape delay weirdness and unpredictability of it. Definitely gonna use it as a transition trick by feeding the OT cue outs into the DN delay! Thanks miles!

Awesome that’s a great idea! The only Elektron device I own (yet) is the DN, so I would love to hear how this works together with the OT and/or DT. Cheers!
