Certainly sounds like it addresses most of my beefs. I actually had mine up for sale here. Lucky it hadnā€™t gone yet as Iā€™m eager to try this out!

No per-channel comps or gates yet, nor separate send mutes or rtas for the eqs, but they hit a lot of my list too.

Yeah man!! I cant not try it now!!

Wish they had done this for CUE output as well

Sweet update!

Added: loving these reverb options

Added: Hm, surprised to see MIDI Thru not implemented. Probably will pull down some adapters this weekend and verify it still doesnā€™t work

This update had changed my entire workflow, what an improvement!! Thank you 1010music, now if you include a spectrum analyzer, maybe this could be the perfect compact mixer.

Seems like spectrum visualization is one of the most asked feature after the recording improvements that they just delivered. As they to listen well to their user base, we can hope for it at some point :slightly_smiling_face:

If you look at the wishlist posts on their forums, I think the next really big ones are per-channel dynamics and some eq improvements ā€” those have been asked for a ton. Definitely agree that they seem to be listening, though.

Huge update. The timeline is great.

Can anyone explain how the Punch In/out works?

With punch in and out you can choose when it will start and stop recording. You write down the bar numbers you want for this. It is great. It is the only thing I know how to use from the new update.

Is there something we can do to the timeline Or is it just for visual feedback purposes?

You can scrub over it with your finger, which I think is pretty cool.

Quick question about cables. I have split cables that work from my synths to the bluebox. Perfectly.

BUT, I cant locate split cables that work from the bluebox to my monitors. The split from the single cable to the dual mono cables is always close to the end of the split partā€¦so you cant plug the single cable to the OUT and then each split mono part to the monitors.

Can someone post a link for what they use for the audio out from bluebox to their monitors?

Thanks.

Yes, those are the types of adapters I remember looking at before but had forgot. Thanks!

Yep, quoting myself from this thread. Awesome update! Very surprised they went this far!

So, the bluebox recently arrived and so far Iā€™m quite satisfied with it although I havenā€™t been able to dig deeper into it. One minor letdown: as suspected 3.5mm inputs are too close together, there is no way denying that. The Y-cables I ordered are pretty much useless because they are too thick.
Everything else worked like a charm so far; no noise issues (I first was a bit bummed out because there seemed to be a white noise signal when there were no inputs, but it turned out that that came from the compressor and was gone as soon as it was turned off). I couldnā€™t get it to midi sync with my OT so far, but I also didnā€™t have much time to figure it out. Also, the recording levels seem to be very low, but I guess this is also because of me being too stupid to figure out the correct settings. Iā€™m most impressed by the internal reverb, with the new 1.1 beta update. Some of the presets just sound amazing. Looking forward to learning a bit more about how this thing works.
