For me they’ve always excelled more at bangers than “tunes”.

I love Signs a lot. First album I have bought in years.
I also got NTS sessions after that. Great bargain.
but their bangers can be tunes, and their tunes can be bangers.

Absolutely. I mean the tracks that emphasize rhythm over melody/harmony vs vice versa.
A lot more tunes on SIGN…couple pseudobangers.

Yeah, I’m finding PLUS way more up my alley than SIGN. It’s less frenetic and gonzo than 2014-2018 AE so there’s a bit of a return to earlier zones (plus more melody) but with a depth in the sound design that they developed in the last 5+ years. I think PLUS is going to the Mount Rushmore of AE releases for me. Definitely going to be a winter soundtrack for the next few months
