I kind of like the idea of turning mass-produced synths into wall art rather than simply discarding them. It is easy to spend $300-$3000 on art at a cafe or street gallery, why should replacing canvas with a busted synth change the economics?

This idea reminds me of a few very large pieces of art I’ve seen made entirely of old computer keyboard keys, very cool.

What’s the deal with Bax Music? They show up when I search for things fairly often but their site looks a bit shit and I’ve never trusted it.
i dunno, i ordered quite a lot from them a few years ago and had no issues but haven’t used them for a while. they used to be pretty reliable for B-stock deals, not so sure now
