Bye-bye

Well I thought craig was asking but turns out there was something more important he wanted to know. :grinning:

Hey @Ess, thanks for the synths and the input in this forum. Will be following you elsewhere.

I also hope that we can have more Sqein and Auvrel music in the future. Actually, knowing those 0-Day Sysex releases were recorded directly from the device’s stereo outputs without multitracking, made a big impact in my workflow. So thanks again and good luck!

Oh and - welcome to Berlin!

DT first then DN. When about a year ago I decided to shift to electronic music, they were my first adquisitions, and they are my main synths so far. Still learning, still coming up with new ideas every time I switch the “on” button.

@Ess, you and the rest of the Elektron team changed my life, in a good way. Thanks for that. Best of luck!

@Ess thank you for Digitone and Cycles. Although, I’m really bummed that my biggest hope for a clap machine on Cycles is now gone, wishing you the best for future endeavors! Looking forward to whatever you’ve got going on at Fors!

Thank you and all the best @Ess !!

I’ve never conversed with you directly, but you’ve been like the “visible face” of Elektron to me. Good luck with your future endeavor and I look forward to see what you’ll com up with!

Best of luck for the future, @Ess. Thanks very much for all your contributions here.

So long, and thanks for all the fish!

Best of luck @Ess !

I am sure you will come up with something captivating in the future, will be checking out what Fors does in any shape or form

In the meantime, thanks a million for the Digitone and the Model Cycles :space_invader:

It really opened up FM to my ears. Although my dad tried to convince through my entire childhood with his DX7, it only gelled with me with the DN and the M:C.

Probably wont ever sell these two magic boxes and will pass on the magic to my son :raccoon:

Good luck and look forward to checking out what you’ve got going here in Berlin.

I did the same with my daughter, if only so she could learn piano; but seeing and hearing all the things that people here and elsewhere were doing with the Digitone made me look at the DX7 in a different light and start making sounds with it again.

That’s awesome to hear man.

My dad and his DX7 won at the end of the day…hearing FM sounds in his music room for a decade plus made my ears feel in a safe place when I went experimenting with FM myself down the road…

I am convinced that we are doing good. Synth dads for the win
