Do you mean the artist Blawan?

Blawan - My Guide To Dancing On Carpet [TESC008] - YouTube as i know he uses modular setup but i want to know if its possible to make similar sound desgin on a4

Should be doable.

Thatā€™s a phaser effect

Blawan uses alot of phaser and flanger in his music. Think most is modular, but that can be replicated on different synths. But his talent is harder to replicateā€¦

What equipment did he use?

This performance and interview sheds light on some of the constituent elements of what he does (even if the interviewer is borderline rude, interrupting etc or maybe thatā€™s just me!).

Been a while since I watched but some of my main takeaways at the time were him not using pitch quantisation when writing, some simple reliable drum sounds to pin things down and a nice analogue delay by Bugbrand. Iā€™m sure thereā€™s a lot more than that that you can glean from it though and then look to incorporate into your own workflow.

ā€¦u get the fast envelopes out of the a4, pretty much like on modular systemsā€¦
but whatever blawan might have used here, it ends up with leaning to digital wired sound estheticsā€¦

but as mentioned here alreadyā€¦any phaser pedal stuff can turn ur a4 to stuff like thisā€¦

if u donā€™t have something like that at handā€¦next best try can be a4ā€™s internal delay with very short timefactor and a decent amount of feedbackā€¦

if ur new to elektron at allā€¦be warnedā€¦feedback on delay means feedback for real !!!
once u cross the line of selfresonating feedback it can easily get out of handā€¦
donā€™t panicā€¦just make sure u can turn down feedback right away againā€¦
otherwise, ur speakers and ur ears will never forget that momentā€¦

ā€¦otā€™s fx section is by far not that RAW as it ends up in a4ā€™s way more ā€œsimpleā€ fx section, where the reverb (which is a truu beauty by the way) and itā€™s delay in combo with itā€™s truu analog oscā€™s can meet up with their own individual filter feedback optionsā€¦

u got some quite deep sonic safari waiting for uā€¦

I think A4 will get you a good chunk of these sounds.

Some of the sounds sound a bit more digital or artificially effected, which you could probably cover with OT fx and samples.

I think A4 plus OT will get you very far.

One thing that Iā€™ve read about Blawan is that he uses Intellijelā€™s Plonk a lot. So maybe thereā€™s some of the digital physical modeling side added here? I never had a physical modeling instrument, so I couldnā€™t hear if thatā€™s in the recording youā€™re sharing, maybe someone else can chime in for that.

But overall esthetic and atmosphere of this track is very doable with A4 and itā€™s atmospheric send-fx, combined with OT. Use OTā€™s extra Thru tracks to shape the sounds a bit cleaner - the raw full analog A4 sounds in my case will often be a bit more muddy than the example sounds in your Blawan video.

Itā€™s not you, itā€™s the interviewer. Not good.

You can do it with an A4

If you can achieve this, you can Tour around the World (ok, maybe not at the moment ā€¦).

Not you, heā€™s the most infuriating interviewer Iā€™ve ever seen.
