So for the people who got the mkII already, how is the sound of the new version compared to the old one? Same kind of crunchy lofi or way cleaner?

These sound extremely clean to what i get out of my Mood mk1. But this could be down to a maybe slower clockrate i use. So do you feel like it has gotten a lot cleaner than the first version?

Ok, i just watched the manual videos and i can hear the difference very clearly. They switch between the new modes and the classic mode.

Just played with it and wow it sounds absolutely magnificent. Goes from lofi to hifi and everything in between. Loving the SPREAD functionality

I think the Mood (both iterations) is one of the only pedals I’ve owned where I feel like I am both creating and meditating at the same time. There’s like a black hole you get sucked into. You come to and suddenly the yogurt in the fridge has expired, you are being evicted from your apartment, and you are being sued for child support by your ex-wife, which is weird because you’ve never been married, and who’s kid is that?

I actually haven’t dived into all the new stuff yet. Spent the evening just pulling my old Mood shenanigans, and I was about to get into the Spread and Hidden Features and stuff and then I remembered I had a family. Though they had to make themselves really heard for me to recall.

It really does sound a lot smoother. The clock changes aren’t as harsh as on the mki and the overal audio quality sounds alot more polished then the mki… to fly ears at least

It doesn’t compare. One second with the MKII is enough to know you’re in a totally new place now.
