Rock-paper-scissors could imply that this is the final part of the Digitrinity.

And if itā€™s in order, Rock-Scissors-Paper as they implied, then itā€™s the Paper, which wraps everything up all togetherā€¦ Digitakt = Rock, the core, the base. Digitone = scissors, the cutting edge, the shaper. XX = paper, the binder and communicator.

Whatever it is itā€™s the scissors. Digitakt and Digitone are the rock and paper.

Where do you get that from their diagram?

Simon posted the guy making the scissors symbol.

And one can finally play Rock Paper Scissors with the Aibo! Juchu!

Or he was saying ā€œpeaceā€ in reference to some comments aboveā€¦

And of course the Dark Trinity was drum - synth - sample. So the currently missing part would be a drum machineā€¦ unless you see the DT as the ā€œdrum computerā€. In which case this could be a lo-fi /granular sampler/synth??

The real question is who decided that Paper beats Rock? It sort of just wraps around it.

The Digitakt rocks, the Digitone is sharp, and the Digi(not T)*** will make you want to give Elektron a high five

Solved it

The Digitakt was marketed as the drum machine so Iā€™m thinking itā€™s something else.

itā€™s a virtual modular machine that can be custom patched in the Digitakt Overbridge editor and then uploaded to the Digitakt as a machine alternative to triggering sampleā€¦

Just # = just pads

That would fit with what @finalform suggests?

Itā€™s soooo sad that no weird sample mangling can be heard in the video
