Pretty sure you can do this with Multimap mode. See it in use at 57 seconds here.
Yes, indeed. Itâs already possible. Thanks for pojnting this out!
Againnnnn checking back in to request external/internal keyboard track transposition. Love this machine but transposing one or more tracks simultaneously is a chore with the up/down arrows.
I would fully appreciate the ability to hold a track button and press a key/trig to transpose one or more tracks.
Essentials:
-dimmable LEDs, as in the recent 1.3 DT update
-same input routing options, as in the recent 1.3 DT update
-Arp should follow swing settings
Game changers:
-the four empty slots on the FX send page could be used for controlling aftertouch, mod wheel, breath control, and pitch bend per track, essentially functioning as performance knobs. The functionality is already there in the setup menu, but it would be so nice to have them all in one spot.
Nice to have:
-mixer page as on the DT
In addition of the two already great lfoâs⌠I would love to have loopable envelopes on the Digitone. Loop the amp-envelope and loop the filter-envelope That would be awesome
I use this feature alot on the sub-37 to make rythmic patches real fast.
Same here, love them on the sub37, would love them on the digitone!
This is the best request Iâve read in a long time. This would be amazingâŚand plockable? SheeeshâŚ
Even if they werenât p-lockable, this would be amazing!
One can already achieve this with an external midi controller/sequencer or via midi loopback using only the DN. It would open up the DN a lot if the functionality was right there on the FX send page.
Yes This ! a looping feature for the env,
and a shape command to go between expo/linear curve env as make noise module.
Dimmable lights would be great!
A compressor like the DT has, would be very handy.
Well if everyone else is offering unsolicited product development suggestions, I suppose I could add mine:
âNovice/Advanced Modesâ - Novice is exactly as Digitone is now, Advanced would remap the synth pages into 1 page per operator in order to include the following ânormal FM stuffâ: individual waveform control for each operator, proper ADSR envelopes for operators instead of just ADS, new shortcuts to get to control mappings for Velocity Mod, Breath Mod, etc. because frankly, to fine tune a sound properly, adjustments need to be made to parameters while adjusting the mod amountâŚswitching back and forth is pretty slow and tedious. And finally, advance mode would have more algorithms along with selecting which operator(s) are affected by feedback. (yes, my feature request is to have an advanced mode that makes the Digitone a fully compatible OP3 machine).
And since this is all dreaming, Iâll add feedback control and wider depth range for the chorus, paramater locking global effect settings, compressor and internal clipping monitor cause i can never tell if it is or isnât because Iâm not a mastering engineer and i need my visuals.
Lastly, this is a feature request for new machines: get a better power supply, this flimsy piece junk it ships with is in absolute contrast to the rock steady build of the actual box. Itâd be like outfitting finely tuned race car with tires that couldnât handle driving down a regular avenue without blowing up, much less the stress of a race track. That power supply should be embarrassing to elektron.
I wonder if something is in the pipeline soon? Been a minute since that big DT update
I hope thereâs at least a bug fix. I reported a bug that causes the memory buffer to glitch out. Itâs buried deep in there which is why I donât think anyone ever noticed it, users nor devs. The bug also creates wierd behavior in which when the settings that cause the buffer issue are on one track, itâll become affected by adjust another trackâs sounds while the sequencer is playing. Itâs super weird.
Anyway, I want that bug fixed. I donât really care about new features since I bought the box for what it is and not what I want it to be. If new stuff gets introduced, cool, but Iâd rather bugs get fixed first and foremost.
I wish Keytracking could be a modulation source for other things. I want to assign pan to the note value so that I can emulate sitting at a piano.
It would have been super cool to be able to disable trigger/note record from external sequencer!
When i sequence digitone from eurorack and try to record some parameter locks, it also record all triggers and then itâs a mess
- Dimmable lights
- swing for the arp !!
These are also my top two requests. Everything else would be cherries on top of a fine cake!
This request has been made before but it would be very useful especially on lower bpms or lower track speeds. It might seem minor but ultimately make a big difference.
Portamento for parameters option.
I sometimes hate that i have to have a track playing at double speed just so that the parameter locks i record when live recording, sound smooth when they change step. This is a big downerâŚ
