is there factory reset available? could not find a way to reset my Typhon to the initital state. thx
Iirc every time you upgrade the firmware, the memory is reset.

Thank you. Will all settings be reset as well, not just the memory? Will give it a try anyway. My friend borrowed mine and I am lost in the mess he left in there 
I think so, yes, which is why the updates asks you to backup first.

anyone try both? stimming made this thing look very appealing
Question: I know the line input on the Typhon is mono, but does anyone know if you connect a stereo signal to it it will sum both channels (L/R) to mono or just ignore one of the channels?
one channel will be ignored.
usually you will hear only left channel if you plug stereo jack into mono socket.
i dont have typhon yet though

aw, that’s a shame, I wish it was stereo… but it’s still a brilliant FX box for my mixer’s FX send, which is mono anyway.
I think something like this would do the trick for stereo-to-mono summing

Yeah I another option is just a mono summing cable
(Those adaptors make me nervous, worried I will snap it off with a heavy cable)

Ahahah the Typhon lead reminds me a lot of the vocoder in some Mogwai songs, thus the post-rock thingie!

i just had a thought.
would you say that Typhon is modern equivalent of MS-20?
MS-20 is a synthesizer that i sometimes reminisce on.
really want to try Typhon, wonder if its going to evoke a similar emotion.
Typhon reminds me more a modern DSI Evolver.
