New USB cable?? Have I missed something??
The first batch was shipped with faulty (or poor) USB cables. Dreadbox offered to replace them for free by filling a form on their website.

How is it plugged? Wall charger or USB into Computer? The problem was when plugged USB to Computer (a noise was audible).
Is that what caused reports of noise etc?
That was the only thing that has put me off one.
It caused lock ups, inoperability, glitching. But also it wasnât âfirst batchâ but rather âan early batchâ. Mine was first batch and had no issues with the USB cable.
I only had issues with noise when I plugged the Typhon into a computer over USB. So I stopped doing that.

No. The first batch shipped was before the batch that shipped with the faulty usb cable.

Quick question while I am waiting for mine: I am on Mac os 10.12 (Sierra).
The updater says it requires 10.14
Am I good to go?
Any experience anybody?

not sure. i was in the same boat and ended up using my work laptop with 10.14 or 10.15 to update.

Same for me, Iâm also still on 10.12 and Iâve had to use my work windows laptop for the updates.

Iâve heard of people getting it to to work on Catalina 10.15, but nothing before 10.14
