El Capitan-> How's the Overbridge 1.0.0.0

Hey guys, as many of us are aware Apple launched OS X update today so people are excited and urged try it out. However, I’m not really enthusiastic about installing it as I’d rather wait for first feedback on a system and on its compatibility with Overbridge.
Any of you already installed it? How is it going with Overbridge? Any glitches/bugs discovered? Thanks.

it’s not working and it’s been reported on here before. OB won’t detect elektron hardware.

el capitan is currently a no go for lots of software. NI put out warnings… some ofther devs have too

basically… all AU plug ins break with el capitan

Hi elektronauts… the plag in do not work but the sound come out in same routing but

no they don’t. most stuff is fine except for NI inside Logic and Arturia.

it might as well be “all” AUs… there are numerous developers who’ve put out statements via twitter/facebook etc that their stuff is not compatible with El Capitan.

YMMV - really… it’s hit and miss… some stuff is fine but a whole list of things are not fine.

but i see no need to update to the new OS if your system works.

valhalla DSP, universal audio (drivers and plug ins),

"As of today, Steinberg (Cubase, Nuendo, Wavelab), EastWest (Play), Avid (Pro Tools), Slate Digital, Gobbler and others are advising customers to stay put on Yosemite. "

scroll down at above link for a big list of incompatible hardware

also, slate digital seems pooped on el capitan.

there’s a long thread at gearslutz if you can stomach it

Does anybody have a clue when to expect the Overbridge update?
I accidentaly updated to El Capitan and don´t want to move back.

i had to update to el capitan for other reasons, fwiw, OB worked fine for me post installation… or at least as good as it did pre-el cap

I had to go El-Capitan to get my Virus Ti working in plug-in mode.

Apple have fixed something quite major with USB on the newer Mac Pros.

Am now chomping at the bit, ready for Overbridge to work.

I even have an Overhub set up waiting!

anybody?

Not all, and anyway problems and NI and all VST/AU:s are fixed in 10.11.1 (first update)patch. Not regarding Overbridge though.

I’m an Elektron noob so sorry if this sounds stupid, but Overbridge is working as a VST on El Capitan for me (just installed the beta and it worked straight out of the box).

What am I missing?

Lucky you!

Which Mac are you using?

It’s a hackintosh. It seems to work fine in Studio One but I gave it a go in Ableton and it loses connection (red dot in top-right corner) right away.
I guess I’m only partly lucky

I too cannot seem to get over bridge to recognize my analog four . Im using El Cap for Mac (latest version).

Until elektron releases an overbridge update, I’ve got it working great on OSX 10.11.2 via vmware running win10 Live9, totally worth it.

Yeah I made the jump to El Cap, but after some time no OB is not stable.

Looking forward to the update in the next couple weeks.

El Capitan here as well…OB Control Panel detects Rytm, AU in Ableton does NOT.

I tested it with my early 2011 MacBook pro, ,latest El Cap and OB. it connected, but it doesn’t see any of my presets. but I can play and send receive sound and midi. (using Reaper)

Anything special you need to do to get it to “fetch” the preset database from the A4/keys?

Come on Elektron speed up the update please.

Many people on El Capitan are waiting to make full use of the VST integration.
