That fourth layer kindof ruined it. Layers 1+2+3 worked. Maybe layers 4+5+6 will gel, meaning 2 different boxes??! haha, nah, Im also guessing some digi-MD/MM which I would find pretty cool

We need two different layers one of the first two now one of the latter two
It still sounds more like a digitone to me than the earlier machines (not that it needs or intends to sound like the classics.)
Part of me is really hoping this is just a multi-update release giving us retrigger on the DN, A4 and order equally helpful improvements on each box.
I like the idea of a few machines for the digitakt too instead of samples.
