Implying all the Model stuff means that Cuckoos comment is a mislead.
If we are talking about machines and relate that to the OT then maybe a new software for the OT in which It can do FM based on sampled waves, granular and updated effects (re-coded maybe?).
The other option would be a Hardware that works as an extension for the OT so that would meet machines in hardware and software form.
