This is the closest match to the style of singing. But her singing is rougher

Yeah, no sh_t!

I’ll be amazed, and now I feel kind of dumb even trying this.

But now it’s like a car crash and people can’t look away

Have you tried asking your friend?

I could track him down, he doesn’t work at our company any more. Still that’s a way better idea than a shout out in a public forum- LOL

Its definitly dj hotfish yoghurt and the groovey festival allstars, although the groovey festival allstars are no longer, DJ HFY now plays with the wokey cokey allstars. She wears a blond wig

Maybe if you describe the friend we could throw a few names for them your way.

Kosheen?
(but she is not blonde)

No, but a few were close. I’m starting to think the songs I heard was a project with 2 young musicians (the guys in the band) and an iconoc singer like Cerys Matthews from Catatonia.

I also reached out to a friend of a friend to find the guy that shared the song with
me, so theres a chance we can find out.

Charlotte Gainsbourg? Her style (talky, 50 ish) seems to fit that mold.

I was thinking Marianne Faithful but she’s about 80
