Here are a couple of my favorite HOR sets. The Locked Club mix takes a minute to hit its stride, but it’s worth hanging around for when it does.
This Codex Empire live set is good if you want something darker.

He’s built most of it himself - bit of a DIY wizard - from an answer to a You Tube comment:
The set up is entirely in the case you can see - I have an analogue mixer off camera for recording, but other than that it’s all the modular. Drums are: Barton Analog Drum, Hexinverter Mutant Bassdrum, Barton FM Drum, 2hp Snare, Hexinverter Mutant Hihats and sampled claps/rimshots coming from the Tesseract Nutella Tsunami(!). They’re running through an Antumbra DIST distortion and a homemade spring reverb. The 303 is actually an Open Music Labs x0x-heart built into a Eurorack module; it’s a clone of the analogue section of the TB-303, so does a pretty good impression. Other voices are provided by Antumbra ATOM (modal synth voice for atmospheres), Mutable Braids (wavetable chords), Noise Engineering Manis Iteritas(leads), Mutable Rings (atmospherics, incidental percussion), Doepfer A-110-1V VCO (bass). It’s mostly mixed in the rack, but I run the kick and the x0x out to an analogue mixer separately and use a reverb/delay pedal on the send/returns. The rest of the mix goes through a compressor (Disting mk4), sidechained to the kick.

I didn’t watch much of it, just had it on in the background. I like the tonal and rhythmic variety; and it’s all hard as nails. Love it!
