Macs and Malware

Hrm, does bring up a good question about what I’d use other than Safari.

Brave isn’t really trustworthy to me, their shady handling and incorporation of crypto schemes, collecting money “for developers”, history of forcing affiliate links to render, etc.

Some added features are ok, but not unique to the Browser and not enough for me to get over distrust of the company or want to give any market share to a person like Brendan Eich.

I suppose every company has it’s ups and downs but I stick with mozilla for long time, not the best browser on mac for sure but good enough and they seem to me the most trustworthy nowadays.
never going back to chromium based browsers unless something not working, like elk-her or some other stuff, but otherwise firefox is a pretty good choice.

Yes, plain ol’ Firefox seems like my best and most trusted alternative.

yeah, i just keep safari, chrome, and firefox around for various things. people complain about safari, but it’s fine for most things.

The malware is the pop ups urging me to expand my iCloud storage for $/mo.
