Micromonsta 2

Looks and sounds Great! Seems to be a no brainer, at least for longer evolving sounds as far as i hear the demos. Curious how snappy the envelopes can be for more percussive sounds. Someone cares to demo that?

Iā€™m with @Burpy here. Iā€™d love to hear how the envelopes respond to faster and snappier stuff. Thatā€™s usually where VAā€™s maybe not fall short, but show for better or worse the difference between a proper goddam analog and the newest laser thing. Filters, for me has always been a preference, Iā€™ve tried plenty digital filters that have enough character to hold their own against an analogue one, because of their own unique flavour. Elektronā€™s filters in the Digi boxes are awesome, for example.

Envelopes, though. I show no mercy there.

I notice ā€œDrums played by Aā€ but Iā€™m hearing kick and snare ā€¦ how is that done ?

In the comments: ā€œI took an existing kick patch, set an hi pass filter, modulated it with sequenced Control Changes on Digitone, plus noise level, decay to make hihats and snare.ā€

Snappy enough to make drums. @johnl posted the link of 1 of my videos with drums above. Fm drums also possible. I already made some. I can try to make a video todayā€¦

It works with an Iphone if you have enough powerā€¦but Iā€™d really prefer an inboard solution.

Just tested, works with iPhone + powerbank.

Thanks for doing this, this is very generous of you

Quite a punch in that envelope. I realise I wonā€™t know for sure if this can be a friend to my Prophet, until I try one live. But Iā€™m as convinced as can be from your solid demos, @sezare56 - very cool stuff.

Whoa so fast a new demo! Thanks @sezare56!
Seems snappy enough for my needs as far as i can tell through demo videos.

Now let me think, which gear has to go to make place for this little thingā€¦

Thanks! Sounds great! I donĀ“t neeeeed another hardware synth, but then I donĀ“t have a digitial poly yetā€¦ form factor and price might justify a purchase  IĀ“ll decide till the next batch is available

Mine just arrived (Canada), but itā€™s a gift I canā€™t open until next week! ā€¦I did secretly open it just to eat the candy, though (delicious).

Just started playing with mine. Sounds great so far. Feeling inspired to learn to play keyboard properly. Itā€™s a keeper! Iā€™m going to enjoy exploring this. Fairly intuitive. I donā€™t think itā€™ll take too long to get comfortable with it, but I likely will need to use the manual a bit for some things.

Nothing great, but since it is sold out I thought I could share some soundsā€¦
