Model:Cycles

I really hope there is no decoder ring required. I used to hate having to reference that chart (but kudos to the person who put it together)

F-it…
I love my Dgitone but the sound design side of things is lost on me. I am more or less addicted to presets and some minor changes. For this price its for sure worth giving a shot. My tracking shows I will have it Monday from Perfect circuit!
My reasons:

  1. Price
  2. Simplified FM
  3. Form factor (as soon as I can get the battery handle)
  4. Lower level of flashing LEDs to avoid pissing off my wife…
  5. More responsible than other addictions one can have.
  6. If I hate it then Reverb will solve the problem.

Nice work Elektron!

Yes this is really useful and thank you +1 but yes… hard to buy an other machine like this because I take a lot of my time to try new setup and to write different Tuning presets in the midi translator.

Anyone else thinking of the possibilities of feeding M:C with the OT midi arp?

I’m totally out of likes, but fuck yeah this is going to be heaven. Urghhhh

Edit: oops, you were responding to my other post. Eek, thank you. But ssshh, mods are watching me. Sorry again, mods

Sounds like all of the machines can be warped well beyond their intended purpose. The Perc track Elektron posted is just amazing.

I’ve watched through a couple vids now and there are most certainly some pretty interesting ones/features/presentations + really nice audio demos. (a minor few, to my personal shitty taste, don’t seem to add value and to the opposite look rather bland, are more in line with the average vlogging crap, and being wrapped up inside ones own head. I’ll pass on anyone enforcing senseless talk with profound waving of arms and rolling eyeballs. Just show me the synth please + authenticity*)
*as in not trying to sell shit to make a quick buck

Q - After meeting the turn point marketing/strategy-wise, on delivering and seeing some returns on investments and tireless labour, will some of those nifty (under the hood) features perhaps find it’s way back into future system OS updates for e.g. the DT/DN ?

I still have to do more research to decide if it’s for me and where it sits at my ‘if only i’d win the %$#%#$ lottery’-list

Kinda seems like DN’s ‘little brother’ (no offence, it’s a beaut, clean stylish design and certainly appreciate the workmanship, intuitiveness of otherwise tedious/arduous tasks - again simplifying and dominating the FM soundDesign arena)

‘Lost Fonk’ is a seller ! Really nice tune !

Try DV247?

I’ve checked the manual and can’t find the answer…

I wonder how many total presets can be stored on the machine.
Now that the Model series uses a folder structure, rather than a bank structure (A4, DN), the limit is surely pretty high.

70 per pattern (6 core plus 60 locks) is already pretty insane.

edit: found…
“virtually unlimited”

dang!

Or maybe both going into same Laptop?

I think the only thing that missing is an audio input

there’s a usb one on class-compliant audio i suppose, but yeah - it would be handy to have a aux in for convenience, especially as it is portable (or will be)
