I think you’re right.
I’m very intrigued about “Fabric” and “Fabric XL”.

99% certain that’ll be the MPC FM Synth… which isn’t a bad thing. Be interesting to see if it can do Digitone sounds.
I believe they will come with the keys and can be purchased for regular users
Ah, FM makes a lot of sense
In my head the Fabric stuff is basically a way of opening up the field for Kontakt-style sound libraries but I could be entirely and dramatically off the mark with that
YES YES YES that would be so cool
where do you get that idea?
That they come with the keys?
I mean that they’d be paid on MPC, of course they’ll come in the keys I hope, it’s on the box
i think im only seeing midi in, out and thru on the keys. that would be a bummer if it only had one out.
Whatever they are, I just hope they are available for the regular MPC and Force.
I want akai to implement some more randomization, intelligent randomization that allows you to keep what you like and randomize what you don’t like…
also I’d like them to make better use of the touch screen, if you’re going to have a touch screen might as well make it into a kaoss pad controller for midi notes, for strumming, and anything else you can think of, even give it an FX controller page that is more performance oriented than the X/Y pad… like FX performance clip buttons on the screen that can be recorded into the sequencer
Hi.
I’m looking for more presets (more ambient-like) for the Hype-synth, I’d be more than willing to pay for it.
Has Akai or any 3rd part made more available “packs” that work on the MPC standalone?
Hi,
never heard about 3rd party Hype presets but yes it could be very cool if very talented people would make it for the community.
Exiting! Where did you see those?
Yes OPx4 could be very interesting if it is fully tweakable
If Fabric and Fabric XL are “only” containers for instruments (like NI), OPx4 would be the only interesting new plug-in for me.
Leaked in MPC-FORUM. i takes a look sometime in this forum but avoid to interact. I much prefer Elektronauts forum. People are much nicer. Well…
It seems that this is the plugins which will be supplied with the MPC Keys 61. It explains why there are 16 plugins on the leaked pictures of the MPC Keys 61 box. Nobody knows if these new plugins will be available for One/Live/X (whatever free or to be purchased).
I don’t have anything to sell, but have you explored the Sampler init patch in Hype? If you take the Osc control up to the highest 5% area you’ll find several samples prefaced with ‘At’ (e.g. At Warlords), which are designed creating for long, atmospheric patches. If you use the Sampler + Sampler init patch you can combine two of these, or layer one with a pad sample or whatever. It’s quite supportive of ambient sounds, but hoplessly undocumented.
Wow!
I had no idea. Someone needs to make a full-fledged Hype synth tutorial.
Is this in addition to the hardware I/O (Stereo-In and -Out) on the machine itself?
