I was referring to the Rhythm one. I know the workflow of the current Circuit, I used to have one too. But I want to see the sampler one because I’m interested in sampling on the fly and chopping, not uploading stuff with Chrome.
I usually have a bluetooth dongle hooked up in my LINE IN in my MPC and sample from Youtube or Splice or whatever via bluetooth
After watching all the videos on that Amazon page link, this one’s not for me.
I pre-ordered the original circuit and it frustrated me with the knobs having different functions for every patch. Never knew what was going on and returning to previous projects was even worse.
Interested in the Rhythm variant. I think thats going to be more interesting.
Owning a DT though I don’t think it will offer much new, I’ve been going on a journey of buying boxes that offer more modern features than the DT, but never make music as good as what I make on the DT and miss the workflow of the DT when I’m not using it.
Just something I’m realising recently is that when I’m using the DT I’m not thinking about the DT at all, only the music, and I kinda of zone out. Hard to find hardware like that
I think the 2 midi tracks with macro mapping then 2 inputs to mix FX and sidechain will make this an interesting choice as the core of a portable live setup.
$399 isn’t too bad, considering the built in battery, and extra inputs and whatnot. Hell, I’d pay extra on all my boxes to have full size midi and audio connections.

I guess this is just an updated Circuit to those who already liked the original. Just not for me.
I’ll wait to see what happens with the sampler version
