Actually, it seems most people (me included) don’t like the new encoders in mk2 devices because they are not precise. The fact that there was nothing wrong with the old encoders makes me think they got the new ones cheaper and that’s why they changed the encoder supplier.
It took me time to get used to them but now I’m more fond of mk2 encoders.
IMO a good setting would have been to use Fn+knob for precise dialing, and push for default values.
But as is, it’s becoming ok to me.
OS have been improved in this regard I believe : A4 mk2 seems more efficient since previous update than it was at first.

I’m digging them. Being able to sweep a filter with one turn is much more inviting and fun to play with, hope they last longer than the old ones, they probably will because you hardly ever need to click and twist which is what I believed broke my last ones.
