My first thought was this was a mashup of Autechre’s Gantz Graf and the Crab Rave. In a good, but somewhat frightening way.

Yeah jokes aside I felt like I was looking at a video still, something about it felt like it was growing/changing/undulating, like Gantz Graf, but organic. To see it actually animated would definitely be cool.

I mean for me this screams (!) “Ahh Real Monsters”, but yeah, something about it definitely reminds me of that era of animation and I can’t quite decide why, but I like it.

It’s all in the title…
I made the sculpt/modeling/texturing.
A friend made the rig and i converted it via 3DXchange to IC7.
Used “animation ready” clips that i modified to fit my needs but i made the facial animation in iClone 7.
