The Chariots of Fire soundtrack was one of my first synthesizer records I bought… loved that thing
What the fuck. Rest In Peace
RIP, I wonder if heaven got a CS-80?
All of them, perfectly in tune and calibrated and weighing less than a feather.
Oh no.
Sounds heavenly! He will do a lot of records up there!
Now they better bring out a tribute Yamaha CS80 or im quitting.
I actually met him in London years ago when he had a pad in London. A really down to earth guy. We talked about the boat race and other things. Would give you time when most people didnt then.
Gonna be totally honest and say that I thought he had passed a few years back. I will always love Friends of Mr Cairo
Sad news! RIP. What a legacy to leave behind though!!
Couple of family members worked with him back in the day on record covers and also in the studio. I went to his flat near Albert hall I think, was with my parents back when I was 3-4 years old.
