About the octatrack, how do I send .sysx files?
I uploaded the files using USB DISCK MODE into a zip file inside dropbox.
and i also managed to get a sysx file out of the octatrack but it’s using the SEND MIDI UPGRADE in the weird FUNCTION MENU when you start up the machine.
Can someone help me about this?
PS. Also if this question was already answered I’m sorry, but I read all of the comments maybe I could’ve skipped it.
I prefer this to other attempts because it retains the character of the sample, and you can hear that it is based on spoken words.
You can degrade any sample so it sounds like a kick and a snare. Creating a synth lead is a bit harder but, again, you lose any sense that the sound is based on a spoken word in the process. It could be any sample of anything, even just a synth lead sample.
i just made a really basic groove with the provided sample, it was really fun to use only the sample and nothing else
i was just about to ask the same… i couldn’T find a way to generate a sysx file
and am i right the project files only have to be supplied if you are one of the winners?
