well, depending on how the āwhat was your approachā future threads go i might compile some kits; thereās nothing to share beyond the preparatory work iām afraid. itās been a sobering but fruitful exercise, even though arrangements and the likes are just not my thing, think iāve been too focussed on how the machine(s) work and not how they can be worked !
too much time spent making Max tools to harvest sounds and Lemur breakout surfaces to control the basics and performance elements. Familiar story at this end sadly, loaded on prep and not delivery, thatās why i congratulate all who managed what i couldnāt : )
I couldnt agree more
Girlfriend asks about my submission for the contest this morning while going to work, so I have the great idea to play it from my phone.
Ouch.
Thatās the moment where you see the importance of proper mixing. it sounded decent last night in the studio with my headphones, but the favctory car stereo was much much less flattering. =/
Oh well. Learning experiencesā¦
Hi elektronauts,
Here is my attempt.
Please enjoy.
Seriously---- WTFā¦
We have been blown away with such great submissions!
Thank you all!

My heart jumped when I heard thatā¦[/quote]
THANK YOU!! Iāve got an ideaā¦
Sweet melodic feel - really liked it.
Lfo pans are fun.
Motion sequencing!!!
The RYTM is a deep beast that I only barely understand.
Iāve been really impressed with the AR entries actually.
I know phrases like āwarmā and āmojoā are completely subjective and overused but as someone whoās never tried an AR Iāve really been impressed with how warm the AR entries all sound.
In regards to this task;
[ol]
[li]The AR could use a second LFO.[/li]
[li]The AR should have a second LFO.[/li]
[li]THE AR MUST GET A SECOND LFO DAMMIT![/li]
[/ol]
the things I learned :
The Octatrack itself in 6 days because i never used it before !
I missed the point because i never structure whole things from 4 bars ā¦
I

[li]Learned to use the Parts (finallyā¦)[/li]
[li]I agree with the Arranger, never used it before until I was forced to. Great option as you say - use one pattern and automate mute/unmute. Good tool, but just an addition to a groovebox intended to be used as Live-In-A-Box.[/li]
[li]How horribly deep the menus go when you want to get stuff done. And I still havenāt discovered which step in the Project menu I didnāt do (or did do) in order to lose my first SciLab project.[/li]
[/ol]
All in all I agree, itās been a great skill-polishing marathon for me. Thanks Elektron and Elektronauts.
Oh, yeah, I definitely agree with #1 and #2.
