Iā€™m working as a metalworker/ construction
mechanic. I do a lot of welding in our workshop, but Iā€™m also working outside alot which is great
Today we did this stage. Itā€™s 4meters x11meters, 2,10m hight. Took us 6 hours to set it up, gonna do the fine tuning tomorrow.

Iā€™m also doing some more detailed and much smaller stuff, like furniture and so onā€¦ this is a little table we tried for the first time last week:

Love my Job, best thing about it are my Co Workers, because we basicly talk about nonsense all day every day and we all love some beer after work

Iā€™ve been doing similar work for the last 7 years. Itā€™s very fulfilling. The program that I worked at ended up shutting down during the beginning of the pandemic, which left me unemployed for most of 2020 and feeling very depressed. It was a blessing in disguise though because it eventually lead me and a few of my old colleagues to start our own program. which is mainly art focused. Weā€™ve been operating for about a year now!

I work for as an intake/investigation specialist for a law firm in Louisville, Ky. I left the wacky world of insurance to work here and itā€™s literally the craziest job Iā€™ve ever had.

I never realized the amount of mental illness that the general public deals with until I started taking calls daily from conspiracy theorists who want to sue the government for allowing lizard people to infiltrate the system.

I work as a community service green worker for 7 years now. Had many different jobs before, from industrial cleaner to operator making Bio-Diesel.

Sure! I always get excited when I find others who support people in the IDD community. This type of work isnā€™t for everyone. I think it takes a certain level of patience and openness, which can be emotionally and physically exhausting, and yet itā€™s also very enrichingā€¦ Iā€™m sure you know what I mean.

Definitely! And the team is also really important. Itā€™s nice that you have a great team. Our team is quite small and new as the old colleagues are not here anymore and unfortunately for now there are some problems with this team. Letā€™s see how things go.

I work part-time as a communication officer for a historical museum and teach leadership and communication at a school. I am also the father of two children and spend several days a week with them. I am very happy with this constellation.

Programmer in supply chain software.

(I donā€™t know when supply chain issues will be over either :upside_down_face:. I do know a lot of businesses are super on edge about any delay getting orders out of warehouses)

Iā€™d advise against it unless it becomes fully legal bro.

Update: Yeah I should have listened to my own advice, arrested last week and being charged for drug traffickingā€¦ All sorts of lies from the police in the news of course, mother fuckersā€¦

I grow cannabis for a local (Seattle) farm and also work in the warehouse for Fantagraphics, a comics publisher. I donā€™t enjoy the cannabis thing at all but it pays nicely. The warehouse is minimum wage and I would die/kill to keep that job.

whatā€™s so bad about the farm job?

ā€˜Back in the dayā€™ growing weed was not only an adventure but highly lucrative. Now itā€™s just a pack of boring, repetitive chores.
