Standalone Maschine+

This is weird. I like this more than I thought…

Time for research!

Research?!?! No way. We all need to buy blindly, and then complain later when it doesn’t have what we all thought that it should have. I’m getting two so that I can complain twice.

Watched the video but still have not understood whether it is possible to feed the Maschine+ with new synth plugins. What about NKS and all the nice stuff from Arturia and other companies? In the video they have only showed their own expansions.

stay put, everybody, i’m gonna create a ‘Maschine+ vs Octatrack’ thread and be right back.

Maybe a Maschine X or ++ will come next

No third party/NKS/VST for now, just NI selected synths and effects.

Thank you for the fast info!
It’s a shame though …

But Maschine + get maschine software version 1
When Maschine MK3 get maschine software version 2

What are the opinions on the new Maschine? Seems pretty expensive for the difference in features, but has me totally planning on saving for it in that I sold off my MK3 due to the difficulties associated with its DAW…

They run the same software, not sure what you mean?

No.

Or be one of the “It doesn’t have X — I’m out!”ers. There is always a few of these here. They even use those exact words.

For now I’m thinking this might be the thing I want, that didn’t know I needed.

Lets hope this is going to be the new trend so Cubase, Logic and Live standalone etc.

Or something like a new concept from Elektron with Overbridge after all those years of development???

Curious if the standalone version will have the illegible text under the macros for the onboard synths. Hopefully they make those more understandable

This write up sells it more than their own promos. Makes it sound great

depending on the reviews I could see myself using this to go mostly-dawless in the future. have been an NI user for 15 years and have always dreamed of enjoying their stuff away from a computer.

which makes me happy much more than this thing itself

As usual when I see something like this I make plans of selling most of my stuff :upside_down_face:
Until the first reports of unfinished software and bugs come in
